To Generate Centerline For OpenPlant Modeler Piping Components

Install OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition on your machine.
Note: The OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition and OpenBuildings Designer should be installed on the same machine.
  1. Install the latest OpenBuildings Designer on your machine.
  2. Open the workset level ".cfg" file. For example, BuildingTemplate_US.cfg located at C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenBuildings CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\Building_Examples\worksets\BuildingTemplate_US.cfg and uncomment the following configuration variables under "EC annotation and OpenPlantModeler Piping centerline" and save the file.
  3. Relaunch OpenBuildings Designer.
  4. Open a OpenPlant Modeler dgn file.
  5. Click References on ribbon.

    The References dialog opens.

  6. Click Set Reference Presentation in the References dialog.

    The Reference Presentation dialog opens.

  7. Enable Centerlines under the OpenPlant Modeler section in the Reference Presentation dialog.
    Note: If you disable the Centerlines under the OpenPlant Modeler section in the Reference Presentation dialog the centerlines will disappear from the geometry. After disabling the Centerlines click Reload on ribbon.
  8. Click Accept Changes and then Push to Saved View.
  9. Click Reload on ribbon to process the geometry and see the centerlines in geometry.
